Gundagai is a picturesque country town with a rich, cultural heritage in the beautiful Riverina district. Located along the Murrumbidgee River, the main industries are sheep and cattle, plus a healthy tourist trade and rest stop for travellers between Sydney and Melbourne. At the heart of the town is the Gundagai Services Club which has been serving townsfolk and travellers since 1954. Open 7-days a week, it is the town’s meeting point and a major sports & entertainment centre. Along with a popular restaurant, bar and coffee lounge, the Club provides members and guests with a top class 18 hole golf course, two bowling greens as well as all weather tennis courts and squash courts for hire.
